AMAs 2012: Swift Chased, Bieber's Grope Explained + More Things You Didn't See

Taylor Swift took home the award for Favorite Country Female Artist (surprise, surprise) while Carly Rae Jepsen won her first. Dick Clark was given a touching tribute by Stevie Wonder, David Guetta won the Favorite Artist - Electronic Dance Music category ("EDM" as Elisha Cuthbert so kindly defined for us while presenting), and Christina Aguilera debuted bangs while on stage with Pitbull. Justin Bieber brought his mom on stage during his acceptance speech for his Artist of the Year award and PSY brought it home "Gangnam/Hammer Style." It was an action packed evening, however not all of it was televised.

Here are just some of the things you didn't see that happened behind-the-scenes at this year's AMAs:
Red Carpet Screamers: The fans were out in full force, dying for a chance to catch a glimpse of anything even remotely famous. Those within a 5-mile radius of the Nokia Center could tell when any of the A-listers were arriving based entirely on the decibel of their screams. Taylor Swift's red carpet entrance enticed half of Los Angeles to breakout in a "Taylor, Taylor" chant. Bieber of course got his own… If an applause meter had been running, however, the "Swifties" would have easily been named the victors.
