News: Brown and Drake 'nightclub brawl case closed'

Chris Brown and rival Drake will not face criminal charges for their June nightclub brawl, according to reports.

The rappers were involved in a fight at WIP nightclub on June 14 that left many partygoers bloodied and bruised.

TMZ reports police have closed the case due to lack of evidence.

Law enforcement sources tell the website no criminal charges will be filed against Chris, Drake or members of their entourages.

Drake's lawyer Blair Berk appeared to confirm the report.

"Drake was never even a suspect so it's no surprise," he told the website.

Chris and his entourage reportedly sustained serious injuries in the melee, which reportedly erupted over Chris' ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
