News: KPop show called off

PETALING JAYA: The K-Pop Storm concert, billed to be the biggest in Malaysia with nine South Korean pop groups and headlined by boy band SHINee, has been cancelled.

Its South Korean organiser Happy Entertainment called off the show scheduled to be held today at Sunway Lagoon after South Korean radio station WBS, which initiated the concert, pulled out of the event following a disagreement between the two parties.

“[The show] has to be postponed, as the problem cannot be solved on time. The concert can no longer go on as planned. Details will be announced after the internal meeting with all parties,” Happy Entertainment said in a statement, adding that ticket holders would get a full refund.

It added that the procedure, venue, date and time for the refund of purchased tickets would be disclosed on its official Facebook page at facebook.com/kpopstorm.
